All Those Trims – 2017 Porsche Cayenne Review

The new 2017 Porsche Cayenne is both indulgent and downright sporty, no doubt. Its comprehensive lineup not only offers appealing features such as a rewarding handling, highly customizable interior, and a wide range of engines but also offers a diesel powered model, a turbocharged V8, and a plug-in hybrid model as well.

The Porsche Cayenne release date is slated for the fourth quarter of this year of course as a 2017 year model.

New Infotainment System?

For 2017, the new Porsche Cayenne 2017 gets a new infotainment system that first debuted on the 2017 911. The system tacks on features like a seven-inch touchscreen display, voice activation, and a navigation system. It also offers real-time traffic info and Google Streetview and Google Earth integration. Otherwise, the new model returns unchanged from the previous model year.

Combination Of Everything You Like

Most automakers view four engines as enough diversity, however, Porsche isn’t like its peers. It offers a wide range of engines that offer an output ranging from around 240 to 570 horsepower. Performance aside, the Cayenne is downright versatile. It caters for almost every buyers’ taste: Are you looking for an SUV? A Winter sports mobile? Or a luxurious and comfortable highway cruiser? Well, this 2017 Porsche Cayenne review is just for you.

Only Two Flaws Are…

The only serious foibles that owners of the newest Cayenne should be content with include a substantial impact on your bank account and an insubstantial cargo volume. Beyond that, the Cayenne is the perfect fit for anyone else looking for exclusivity.

Alternatives?

But the Porsche Cayenne 2017 isn’t the only vehicle in its class that has had changes and mild tweaks done. Alternatives offered include the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, and the Land Rover Range Rover Sport.

The 2017 Land Rover Range Rover specs include a price tag starting from an MSRP of around $84,950. You get value from features such as an opulent interior, a fuel-efficient diesel option, a long-wheelbase body style, and a very quick acceleration with the optional supercharged V8. The Range Rover release date hasn’t been announced yet, but we expect details to start trolling in before this fall.

For Large Families And Perfectionists – New 2017 Honda Pilot Release Date and Review

According to spy images and photos trolling the web, the new 2017 Honda Pilot is set for some few changes on several of its facets. The interior is set to be the biggest beneficiary due to the updates to the technologies and material quality. As before, the Honda Pilot is still expected to come with a ride smooth quality, high-tech safety features, a versatile interior, an intelligent all-wheel drive system, better fuel economy ratings, and plenty of room for big families.

Pricing and release date details for the Pilot are yet to be offered, however, industry pundits had their own input. Read on to know what they think!

Doesn’t Need An Upgrade?

For starters, the Honda pilot has been the go-to three-row SUV for buyers looking for efficiency and plenty of interior accommodations for the large families. It hits all the high notes for reliability, comfort, and versatility too. According to rumors, the new Honda Pilot isn’t expected to undergo such a radical surgery as the existing model is still up to the task when it comes to material quality and upscale technologies. Minor design changes and technological updates are nevertheless imminent, at least from what we hear.

Every Car Wants To Be The Pilot

Since its arrival thirteen years ago, the Pilot has continued to distinguish itself by setting industry benchmarks for dynamic handling, safety performance, fuel efficiency, and thoughtful interior packaging. And yet, Honda never seems to rest on its laurels. See, the 2016 Pilot was reengineered from the ground up with virtually every aspect thoroughly redesigned to match the contemporary needs of the modern consumer. This was achieved through offering premium amenities, more advanced technologies, and delivering more family-friendly utility than ever before.

Strong Competition

The result: a three-row premium SUV that enjoys unparalleled superiority when it comes to competitive pricing, reputation for reliability, and well-rounded attributes. We highly recommend the Pilot to anyone seeking a sleek, premium, family-friendly three-row modern crossover SUV. But even with so many praises coming its way, the Pilot will unfortunately have to battle it out with other large three-row SUV heavyweights. The 2017 Toyota Highlander is probably the Muhammad Ali of the large family three-row SUV class. Other solid choices include the Chevrolet Traverse, Hyundai Santa Fe, and the 2016 Ford Flex.

What Are The 2017 Honda Pilot USA Release Date & Price?

While it is early to talk of the release date and price now, rumors are rife that the Pilot price will remain unchanged over its immediate predecessor which goes for sale for an MSRP starting from $38,755. This is welcome news especially for purposes of making it competitive in the hot-rod class. It is expected to go for sale sometime in mid-2017, probably as 2018 Honda Pilot. No details have however been offered by Honda and these are purely speculative.

Rumored 2017 Honda Pilot Exterior Spy Pictures

As already mentioned, the new 2017 Honda Pilot isn’t expected to change much from the outgoing model due to the thorough redesign change the previous model underwent. As such, the existing exterior design will carry on except for the minor tweaks that Honda may offer. The front and rear bumper, headlights and taillights, and the tailgate design will carry over unchanged. There’s however reports that the grille and hood may change slightly to offer the front fascia a more modern outlook.

Also, while the existing model enjoys eight exterior colors including five pearl and three metallic colors, several additions may be available as well. But even if the current color palette carries over unaltered, the 2017 Pilot will still enjoy a strong character by exhibiting a smart luxury appearance as before.

2017 Honda Pilot Interior Photos

The heavy camouflage on its exterior makes it almost impossible for anyone to peek through. As you can see from the images here however, the Pilot interior layout remains the same as before – a good thing I’d say. Material and technological upgrades are expected nevertheless. Some of the standard accessories to expect include Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone app integration, an upgraded 8-inch touchscreen interface, satellite and HD radio, dual-zone automatic climate control.

Available Trims Are…

Five trims are expected for the 2017 Honda Pilot: EX-L, EX, Elite, Touring, and LX. Slight changes can be expected on its release date however.

Engine Specs

2017 Honda Pilot engine

The familiar 3.5L V6 engine rated at 280 horsepower and 262 lbs. ft. of torque should be expected. A fully equipped Honda Pilot will achieve a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.

New Safety Measures

With safety technologies such as road departure intervention, a lane departure warning, a forward collision mitigation system, adaptive cruise control, a slew of airbags, and rear-cross traffic alerts, there’s no doubt that the newest breed of the Pilot will score a five out of five star rating for overall crash impact protection.

Better Than Rogue? – 2017 Nissan Qashqai – Release Date, Review and Specs

With a bolder styling, and improved fuel economy, the new 2017 Nissan Qashqai is certainly headed in the right direction. Rumors have been going round within the industry that Nissan could be dropping the Rogue Select in favor of the Qashqai – the smaller crossover that was meant specifically for the European market.

The Nissan Qashqai release date should be expected sometime in the second half of 2017, if all goes according to Nissan’s plan.

2017 Nissan Qashqai side view, silver color, alloy wheels

For starters, Nissan buyers who’re looking for a cheaper alternative to the Rogue have only two options: opting for the Rogue Select or the Juke. The latter is noticeably smaller while the former, having been introduced nine years ago, is starting to show its age.

Size Of The Qashqai

Although both the Nissan Rogue and the Qashqai ride on the same platform – CMF platform – the Qashqai model is slightly shorter than its bigger sibling. The new model comes with slight changes on its exterior and interior design, though, I must admit that we expected something more from Nissan.

Ride Quality

Interior wise, the seats are comfortable and supportive, and there’s no doubt that one will enjoy an appealing ride quality once they’re on the move. The infotainment system is updates, as is the technology list which now features items like blind-spot monitoring with rear-cross traffic alert, cruise control, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, and a 6.5” touchscreen display.

Competition?

When it comes to the available competition, the Qashqai should brace itself for a bruising battle with both the Ford Escape and the Kia Sportage. The Sportage, as evidenced by the spy photos captured earlier this year, have revealed that a new refresh is headed its way. Therefore, U.S shoppers will have another option to choose from apart from the Escape and the Qashqai. It’s also extremely affordable, like the Qashqai, and offers a starting MSRP price in the region if $22,150.

The Ford Escape, on the other hand, has grown in size and now incorporates an additional bench putting the total to three rows. Similar to the Sportage, a new refresh is headed its way if spy shots taken recently are anything to go by. The only downside the Escape has verses the Qashqai is the price point, with the Escape estimates to be offered in the region starting from $22,960.

2017 Nissan Qashqai Engine Specs

Rumors suggest the 2017 Nissan Qashqai will be available with two diesel and two gasoline engines under its hood. The most probable engine that we expect will be offered for the U.S market is the 1.6L inline four-cylinder engine, which pundits estimate its output to stand at 161 hp and 177 lbs. ft. of torque.

Smaller But Stronger Than Its Bigger Brother Rogue

The output is significantly better than what the heavier, bigger Nissan Rogue offers which stands at 170 hp and 175 lbs. ft. of torque. Additional details are still under wraps but we expect Nissan to make them known some few months before its release date. So, keep checking back for additional info.

2017 Nissan Qashqai 0-60 mph is estimated to take 10 seconds, while the top speed is rated at 125 mph.

2017 Nissan Qashqai Exterior And Interior Changes Are…

Some of the standard accessories to expect include a rearview camera, seventeen-inch steel wheels, satellite radio, a tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, a five-inch touchscreen display, foldable and reclining rear seats, a USB port, a height-adjustable driver seat, a trip computer, dual-zone automatic climate control, a CD player, auxiliary audio jack, a four-speaker audio system, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, rear privacy glass, chrome exterior door handles, roof rails, automatic wipers and headlights, cruise control, cloth upholstery, remote keyless entry, and  LED running lights and headlights.

When Will 2017 Nissan Qashqai Be Released?

According to credible rumors within industry circles, the new model should be expected to go for sale sometime in the second half of 2017.

The 2017 Nissan Qashqai price starts from an MSRP of $21,500, at least for the U.S.- spec model.

Fuel Efficient Dwarf – 2017 Ford Fiesta  – Release Date, Review and Specs

Although its unrefined automatic transmission system and mediocre interior space are things worth pondering about, the new 2017 Ford Fiesta offers lots of compensation in terms of its nimble handling, pleasant everyday companionship, sporty handling, zesty performance, and peppy and fuel-efficient engines. One of the best reminder that says it all about how far Ford has come from is the new 2017 Ford Fiesta. A while ago, small cars were exclusively offered for the European markets and the rest – leftovers – were offered for Americans. As a matter of fact, the subcompact Fiesta wasn’t even sold on our shores until 2011. Fast forward to 2017, and we now enjoy the trappings of refinement, fuel-efficiency, and fun-to-drive driving experience of a modern Fiesta.

It joins forces with the Focus in terms of perennial favorites in their class. Inasmuch as the market has experienced a rapid growth in the number of vehicles offered, Ford has managed to keep the Fiesta appeal lively thanks to the nifty features it is offered during every consequent release.

Premium Gadgets

Just like a smartphone responds to pinch and swipe, that’s the same way the clearly laid-out Sync 3 touchscreen interface offered on the Fiesta is. The interior is further packed with premium technologies and features such as Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, USB connectivity, voice controls, and soft-touch upholstery.

Easy To Drive

Handling is as good as it gets, just like in the existing model. Throw in the nimble feel, responsive steering, and a fun-to-drive character, and you’ve got yourself a hoot-to-drive vehicle.

Some of the chief rivals to check out include the Hyundai Accent, Honda Fit, Kia Rio, and the Chevrolet Sonic.

2017 Ford Fiesta Trims & Body Style

Three trims are available for the five-passenger subcompact 2017 Ford Fiesta: S, SE, and Titanium. All of which are further offered with both a sedan and hatchback body style. The 2017 Ford Fiesta RS and high-performance 2017 Fiesta ST reviews are offered separately.
